Research and Development Center is dedicated to support the student in their project works. The center supports for all the electronics and computer interface projects. We have our own state of art PCB production facility. There is a separate project room, with all facilities (8 computers with Matlab, Proteus, Micro-chip and 8051 software installed). Special focus has been given on the embedded systems.

The Robotics Club of KCC is established with the view of enhancing confidence of students by designing and participating in different robotics competition, organized at national and international level.

It is currently six member club, comprising the students from B.E Electronics & Communication and B.E computer Engineering. The lifespan of this club will be one year only. The new robotics club member will be selected by Robotics Club Member Examination, undertaken by Research & Development Center.

The present member of Robotics Club:

1) Sulav Bartaula

B.E Computer, 4th semester

2) Amit Pokharel

B.E Electronics & Communication, 4th semester

3) Krishna Karki

B.E Computer, 5th semester

4) Sabin Shrestha

B.E Electronics & Communication, 7th semester

5) Ajay Sapkota

B.E Computer, 7th semester

6) Prakash Raj Bhatta

B.E Electronics & Communication, 7th semester

Ongoing Work at Robotics Club

The member of Robotics Club is engaged in design of Robot named “ADHOS”. Originally it was done by our former students Deepak Poudel, Shrawan K.C and Sanjay Rimal. The project remained incomplete at that time. Now it being redesigned and members are working hard to meet the expectation.

At present, the following are the major projects are in the development phase:
# Electronic Bug
# Robotic Arm manipulator
# Quad rotor l
# ADHOS
# Electronic Ludo Game
